Money...

Desperate times... result in desperate actions. Seventy-three people are left dead after a stampede in Manilla at a stadium. A game show hosted by ABC-CBS gives away 1 million pesos to people who come to the game show if they win. It attracts numerous people of the poorest part of the country in hopes of ending their poverty. People rushed the gates hopping to get in and win money, but ended up trampling many people to death.

All this is very sad... money, property, capitalism are evil things and need to be done away with.
