Socialism at Work
People constantly use the USSR, China and Eastern Bloc as examples of Socialism failing. However today in Venezuela there is an example of Socialism not only working, but more efficient than Capitalism. The following article explains:

Show large scale central planning in action.
This isn't even small scale central planning. Central Planning is for the authoritarian communists.
I am not knowledgable on the current state of venezuala, however to me I could never support the so-called "communist" societies of the former U.S.S.R., China, or Cuba because the leaders cared about power more than the people. perhaps they may have cared about them at once but they have all turned into murdering dictatorships. Socialism can and will work, and is a much more moral system than capitalism, however the ideal is based on brotherly love and sharing, not killing those who disagree and giving more power to yourself.
Cuba hasn't murdered many people, and the ones who have been killed were not murdered, but died in war.
I'm not a fan of Stalin or Mao either.
